Painted Cast Resin Poly Stone American Buffalo Bison Figurine marked/stamped

Estate item. I am no expert on bison/buffalo figurines and don't pretend to be. Please view all photos as they are part of the description. Not sure what this is made of. I am guessing either some type of resin or poly stone. Looks like brass or metal but definitely is not. Gold, black and copper colors. This figurine measures 6" long and 5.5" tall. Other than some light fade I would say this looks to be in good (very good?) condition. No large scratches, chips or repairs I could find. It has some type of maker's or manufacturer mark on it. I have no clue what it means, I could not find out anything about it. It looks like a cowboy with a "y" or something like that.  Does make a really neat display or deco item.
